Both oral and poster discussion sessions will be interactive, with a moderator. The official language of the meeting and all communications will be English. All presenters must pre-register for the meeting and pay the appropriate registration fee after the abstract being accepted to be eligible for special speaker registration rate. As a non-profit and non-government organization, the International Association of Nanotechnology is financially independent from any governments, corporations or any entities, which enables us to be serve as an independent think tank in various controversial issues facing the emerging technology. Your contribution in the form of registration would help to defray the high cost of organizing an international meeting. Abstract Preparation Instructions: Authors are invited to submit abstracts, up to two pages in length, including text and figures for consideration. Text should
be placed on the first page, figures occupying the
second page. The abstract must explicitly highlight the
new aspects of the work and conclusions that can be

The primary author must have the consent of all co-authors listed on the abstract prior to submission. Presenters must not split one study into several papers. Each abstract must stand independently on its own merit. Multiple titles (series titles or numeric titles) will be rejected. The research project being reported in the abstract must be able to demonstrate some elements of originality or carry with it new insights and refreshing ideas for the advancement of knowledge. Abstracts will not be accepted if the same work have been previously published or presented at another meeting, unless additional work or new results or new insight can be presented at the conference. The Group Program Chairs selected for each Review Group and the Annual Session Committee reserve the right to reclassify submitted abstracts into the most appropriate area of review. The conference will include presentations in the following modes: Oral Presentation: Presenters with an accepted abstract will be sent more detailed instructions as the meeting approaches. The time allotment for an each oral presentation is normally 25 minutes, followed by five minutes of discussion. Poster Presentation: Poster session is an important session at the International Congress. All authors are invited submit the full paper to the conference proceedings. Please view the Guidelines for Poster Preparation and Presentation The author must indicate, during the online abstracts submission process, if he/she prefers to present his/her report in the oral, or poster discussion mode. If no preference is not given, the Group Program Chairs will determine the final mode of presentation. Efforts will be made to comply with author preference; however, the submitter is obligated to present in the mode assigned unless he/she indicates that the abstract will be withdrawn. After the abstracts are accepted and included in the program, no changes can be made in the mode of presentation. Step 1: Please send your abstract via the on-line submission form: Step 2: Send a copy of your abstract in both MS Word and the PDF file to email address: program@ianano.org, to ensure the accuracy of scientific terms and symbols and to included your abstract in the Abstract Book of the ICNT 2007. All submitted abstracts will go through a peer review process and it may take 2 to 4 weeks to have a final feedback and decision. Final oral, poster and approval decisions are based upon these reviews. Presentations will be selected for the program on the basis of the scientific quality of the work as judged from the abstract. An impartial panel of reviewers (three persons per Group) will evaluate the content of each abstract. Selection of the abstracts will be made by these reviewers and by the Session Committee, whose decision is final. Abstracts will be reviewed and selected according to how well they address the following questions:
The following are the evaluation criteria used in the review of abstracts. This is provided to call your attention to points that will be considered. In the final analysis, it will be the reviewers' judgment of the value of any abstract that will determine whether the abstract should appear on the program. Since the abstracts are published and become part of the world's scientific literature, it is important that the content be scientifically sound and grammatically correct. Each abstract is reviewed so that high standards can be ensured. Reasons for Rejection are: l. Abstract poorly organized and/or not complete. 2. Required information not given in abstract:
3. Nature of problem not explicit from either title or abstract. 4. Material too closely related to another submitted abstract by same co-authors; should have been combined into a single paper. 5. Abstract is not original research. 6. Abstract has been presented at other meetings or previously published. 7. Problem fairly well-defined, but its importance doubtful. 8. No well-defined criteria given for evaluation of variables. 9. Choice of controls questionable. 10. No control groups reported. 11. Conclusions not adequately qualified, i.e., conclusions have greater limitations than implied by the author. 15. Correlations suggested may be fortuitous insofar as no plausible cause-and-effect relation has been suggested, and none is obvious. 16. Abstract is not in English. Submitting manuscripts to the Conference Proceedings You are invited to submit your manuscript to the Proceeding to the International Congress of NanoBiotechnology & Nanomedicine (NanoBio 2007). Click here to view the Guidelines for manuscript submission to the NanoBio 2007 Proceeding If you have any special requests—i.e., religious, academic, or personal conflicts—or if you wish to request that abstracts be scheduled in a specific order, please contact the Program Coordinator: program@ianano.org . If an official invitation is necessary for you to obtain a visa to attend the meeting, click the “Required” button under the “Official Letter of Invitation” section of the online registration process. PLEASE NOTE: Invitation letters will not be processed until you have registered and paid for the registration fees. Please send withdrawal requests to Program Manager, at program@ianano.org you must give the reason for withdrawing the abstract. Lack of travel funds is not an acceptable reason to withdraw an abstract or delegate a substitute presenter. Authors who are dependent on Government or institutional funding for travel should ensure that such funds will be available contingent upon the acceptance of the abstract, or be prepared to participate in the meeting at their own expense. Failure to follow the above procedure may result in the presenter being charged the full registration fee and/or not being allowed to present at a future meeting. If the presenter is unable to attend the meeting, he/she may name a substitute. The substitute must be a co-author and should not be presenting another abstract at the meeting. Requests for presenter changes should be made in writing via e-mail to Program Coordinator at program@ianano.org. Requests should contain the reason for the changes and both the original and new presenters' names. All requests for changes must be submitted 30 days prior to the conference.
