Cascade Clean Energy
Energy efficient solutions for waste water treatment will be the topic of discussion
during this month’s Nano Bio Clean Tech
Forum on Tuesday, August 19, sponsored by the Clean Tech Institute
in conjunction with the International Association of
Nanotechnology.
Cascade Clean Energy System is a sustainable wastewater
treatment solution developed at Cascade Clean Energy, Inc. and
Quantum Intelligence, Inc. It reduces treatment costs while also
generating clean energy, a double savings for operators in the
wastewater treatment industry. 99% of current wastewater
treatment facilities do not recover any energy from wastewaters,
while the remaining 1% could only harvest 15% of the total
energy stored in the organic waste. Our patented technology
utilizes smart microorganisms to optimize the sludge digestion
process and microbial fuel cell (MFC) to recover clean energy
from wastewaters. This solution can generate $10B in
electricity, hydrogen or methane, saves another $10B in energy
costs, while still cleaning wastewaters effectively.
Dr. Charles Zhou is the founder of CASCADE CLEAN ENERGY and
Quantum Intelligence, Inc. He received his Doctor of Science
from MIT in 1991.
The forum will be held from 5:30 PM - 7:30 PM at the IANANO
headquarters, 1290 Parkmoor Ave., San Jose. Networking will take
place from 5:30 PM - 6 PM, prior to the start of the program. A
light dinner will be served.
